| ru_RU |
dc.description.abstract | Anhydrous copper sulfate minerals with additional alkaline cations are the most common mineral species in the fumarole associations of the Second Scoria Cone of the Northern Breakthrough of the Great Fissure Tolbachik Eruption - one of the unique and most famous mineralogical objects on the planet. Due to their instability when exposed to a humid atmosphere, these minerals quickly undergo various chemical changes and turn into a wide range of hydrated sulfate minerals. Supposedly, the chemical composition and other physicochemical parameters of fumarole gases are also variable and may affect the reversibility of hydrated mineral associations. These, and a number of other facts about the mineralogy of the fumarole of the scoria cones of the Tolbachik volcano, have not yet been explained in a systematic way in the world scientific literature. In the light of the above relevance of this subject, the following objectives were identified for this work: 1. Study of transformations and products of changes in primary exhalation sulfate copper minerals during hydration processes 2. Study of transformations of watered copper-sulfate multicomponent mixtures with increasing temperature 3. Description of the transformation trends of primary exhalation sulfate minerals during hydration processes 4. Crystal-chemical analysis of hydrated and anhydrous sulfates of copper and zinc (as one of the most common minerals in the association of GTFE) The results of this work are as follows: 1. The crystal structure of euchlorine KNaCu3(SO4)3O was refined. 2. Experiments were conducted on the hydration and dehydration of exhalation minerals - euchlorine KNaCu3(SO4)3O, chalcocyanite CuSO4, dolerophanite Cu2(SO4)O, alumokluchevskite K3Cu3(Al,Fe3+)(SO4)4O2 and itelmenite Na4Mg3Cu3(SO4)8. 3. According to the results of interpretation, the general crystal-chemical patterns of changes in phase compositions in the studied mineral systems were revealed. The data were analyzed from the standpoint of the theory of structural complexity. | en_GB |
