Selenga River delta development in Holocene

Abstract

Тема выпускной бакалаврской работы: «Ход развития дельты реки Селенги в позднем голоцене», в нее включено 48 страниц, 18 рисунков, 2 таблицы, 32 литературных источника. Предмет исследования – динамика развития дельтового края на протяжении позднего голоцена. Цели работы – определение основных особенностей развития ландшафтно-геоморфологических процессов в дельтовой районе в позднем голоцене и геоморфологическое описание террасовых уровней. Работа состоит из трех частей: в первой части изложена общая физико-географическая характеристика района, во второй части приводится литолого-фациальное описание вскрытых четвертичных отложений в дельте реки Селенги, в третей части представлен обзор картографических данных и данных дистанционного зондирования на район дельты. По результатам работы построен гипсометрический профиль через узел разбоя потока в дельте Селенги, составлена схема геолого-геоморфологического районирования для дельты Селенги с выделением основных террасовых уровней, проведен анализ космических снимков дельты для выделения террасовых поверхностей. Практическая ценность данной работы заключается в том, что для проведения геоморфологических работ на район дельты реки Селенги был привлечен материал как полевых исследований, так и камеральная обработка ДДЗ, что в комплексе позволило оконтурить террасовые уровни и проследить динамику развития дельтового края на период позднего голоцена.

The theme of the final bachelor's work: "Late Holocene landform dynamics of Selenga river delta", it includes 48 pages, 18 figures, 2 tables, 32 literary sources. The subject of the work is the dynamics of the delta region during the late Holocene. The purpose of the work is to determine the main features of the development of landscape-geomorphological processes in the delta region in the late Holocene and geomorphological description of the terrace levels. The work consists of three parts: the first part describes the general physical and geographical characteristics of the study area, the second part provides a lithological and facies description of the discovered quaternary deposits in the Selenga delta, the third part provides an overview of cartographic data and remote sensing data on the delta area. The results of the work built hypsometric profile through the site of the river branching node in the delta, the scheme of geological-geomorphological zoning of the delta highlighting the main terraced levels, the analysis of remote sensing data of the delta for the allocation of terraced surfaces. The practical value of this work lies in the fact that for the geomorphological work on the area of the Selenga river delta, the material of both field studies and desk processing of the remote sensing was involved, which in the complex allowed to delineate the terrace levels and to trace the dynamics of the delta region for the late Holocene.
