Endogenous and exogenous factors in the structural dynamics of friendship networks in the research of western sociologists

Abstract

The article is devoted to the classifi cation of the factors that determine the structural dynamics of friendship networks by using a secondary analysis of the results of empirical research into these networks. The nature of friendship networks is also briefly discussed. Such endogenous and exogenous factors as sex, age, extroversion, emotional intellect, and level of education are examined, as well as romantic relationships, marriage, birth of children, and mobility. Conclusions related to their influence on structural dynamics of friendship networks are drawn. Refs 14.

Статья посвящена типологизации факторов структурной динамики дружеских сетей с использованием вторичного анализа результатов эмпирических исследований данных сетей. Рассмотрены такие эндогенные и экзогенные фактора как пол, возраст, экстравертированность, эмоциональный интеллект, романтические отношения, брак, рождение детей, смена места жительства, расстояние и уровень образования. Сделаны выводы об их влиянии на структурную динамику дружеских сетей. Библиогр. 14 назв.
