The great military commander Tran Hung Dao and Vietnamese literature

Abstract

Чан Хынг Дао считается одним из самых выдающихся военачальников Вьетнама. Под его руководством вьетнамская армия отразила три мощных нашествия монголов во второй половине тринадцатого века. В данной работе мною дается характеристика произведений, написанных Чан Хынг Дао - военных трактатов и "Воззвания к военачальникам" - шедевра средневековой вьетнамской литературы; изучается вопрос о том, как описывается Чан Хынг Дао в произведениях традиционной вьетнамской литературы, повествующих о событиях второй половины тринадцатого века - в историко-эпических поэмах и в рассказе из дополнения к собранию вьетнамской прозы малых форм "Собрание чудес и таинств земли Вьет". Также здесь приводятся основные особенности этих произведений. В заключительной, четвертой главе, дается обзор развития исторической литературы во Вьетнаме, а затем, на примере художественной биографии, посвященной Чан Хынг Дао, изучается вопрос о том, как полководца представляют в своих произведениях современные вьетнамские авторы.

Tran Hung Dao is one of the greatest vietnamese military commanders. Under his command, the army of Dai Viet repelled three powerful invasions of the Mongols in the second half of the of the thirteenth century. Firstly,in this work I give a general description of the literary works written by Tran Hung Dao; these are military manuals and "Exhortation to the military officers", which is a great masterpiece of medieval vietnamese literature. Secondly, I examine the issue of how Tran Hung Dao is described in the works of traditional vietnamese literature narrating the events of the second part of the thirteenth century: that are historical poems and a short story from the addition to the collected stories "Collection of Stories on the Shady and Spiritual World of Vietnam". In addition, I give the main features of that works. Finally, I give a review of the development of historical literature in Vietnam and then, on the example of the fictionalized biography of Tran Hung Dao, I study the issue of how Tran Hung Dao is represented in modern vietnamese literature.
