Methods of computation of Lyapunov matrices for systems with distributed delay

Одним из основных способов анализа устойчивости систем с запаздыванием является метод функционалов Ляпунова-Красовского. Известно, что для их построения необходимо найти на конечном промежутке одну матричную функцию, получившую название матрицы Ляпунова. Вопросы её существования и единственности хорошо изучены, но методы её нахождения известны лишь для некоторых классов систем с запаздыванием. В данной работе рассматривается вопрос нахождения матрицы Ляпунова для двух классов систем с распределённым запаздыванием: системы с экспоненциальным ядром и системы с кусочно-постоянным ядром. В обоих случаях проблема нахождения матрицы Ляпунова сводится к решению вспомогательной граничной задачи. Показывается, что найденное решение граничной задачи позволяет построить матрицу Ляпунова. В обоих случаях устанавливается, что существование и единственность решения граничной задачи эквивалентно существованию и единственности самой матрицы Ляпунова. Полученные результаты проиллюстрированы на примерах.

One of the main methods of stability analysis of time-delay systems is the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach. It was shown that the construction of these functionals requires a certain matrix-valued function on a finite interval, which is known as a Lyapunov matrix. Its existence and uniqueness issues are well studied; however, computational methods for the Lyapunov matrices exist only for several classes of time-delay systems. In this contribution, we study two classes of time-delay systems with distributed delay: systems with exponential kernel and systems with piecewise-constant kernel. In both cases the problem of finding the Lyapunov matrix is reduced to the computation of solutions to an auxiliary boundary value problem. It is shown that a solution of the auxiliary boundary value problem allows to obtain the Lyapunov matrix. In both cases it is established that the auxiliary boundary value problem admits a unique solution if and only if there exists a unique Lyapunov matrix. The results are illustrated by examples.
