Supervisor's review on master thesis by Valerie A. Kuzmina “NATIVE ADVERTISING IN ONLINE-ONLY AND HYBRID MEDIA” Evaluating Ms Kuzmina's master thesis, I would like to stress her innovative and proactive approach to observing the topic raised. The author is exceptionally responsible and diligent due to her genuine interest in the subject. While working on the present study, Valerie analyzed large amounts of data and conducted individual ‘field’ research. She consulted with her academic advisor on a regular basis, took counsel in regard to the research design and results evaluation. Ms Kuzmina proved herself to be an energetic hard worker and enthusiastic student, demonstrating ability to conduct full-fledged research independently and applying all the skills acquired practically. During the last six years of her bachelor and master studies in the Higher School of Journalism and Mass Communications Valerie gained significant experience in the field working as a journalist for a big number of media outlets, including Premium Press, Ahletic Piter, Monday Magazine, Lenizdat and Prospekt Magazine, along with being a co-founder and PR manager of a project LocalEvents that has got a variety of prestigious awards and multiple investments. Currentlyб Valerie works as a customer relations specialist for Netwrix Corporation – company providing information security software. This rich experience allowed her to be scrupulous about working on the research. Valerie speaks English, and has a basic knowledge of German and French.
