THESIS TUTOR’S FEEDBACK OF VERA ZHEREBYATEVA’S MASTER’S THESIS with subject «HIPPOTHERAPY’S PSYCHOLOGICAL EFFECTIVENESS IN THE FORMING OF ADAPTIVE POTENTIAL OF CHILDREN WITH HEALTH LIMITATIONS» Zherebyatyeva Vera is a formed specialist in the sphere of special needs psychology. She has strong and deep interest to the problems of psychological help for children with health limitations from the perspective of their adaptive potential and the outreach of opportunities for social interaction. She actively and drastically started the research work at the term project level, then continued it while doing bachelor graduate qualifying paper. Master’s thesis gave her opportunity to significantly increase the research field. Zherebyatyeva Vera is self-consistent in assigning and solving research tasks, in interpreting obtained results. She is able to thoroughly review results of own researches. She has a fine appreciation of contradictions in obtained results and their interpretation. Zherebyatyeva Vera has a strong research potential and enhanced research observation. She is not afraid to elucidate «unexplored parts» of the special needs psychology. Current thesis confirms this fact. She is considerate to the research paper details. She always hits the target. She professionally overcame all organizational difficulties that took place during the material collection, getting permission for psychological research. She successfully got credibility of the children with health limitations, quickly found common ground with their parents and hippotherapy-instructors. Although Zherebyatyeva Vera is focused on the practical use of research’s results, in the master’s thesis she disclosed theoretical issues of the hippotherapy’s effeciency, searching methodical instruments, suitable for children’s condition and their parents. During the thesis creation analytic skills appeared, ability entreatily and efficiently use literature and empiric material. Strong creative potential appeared while creating own methodic kit. Strong theoretical training, practical know-how skills, as well perseverance and discipline, soft communication skills and humor – are basic lines of Zherebyatyeva Vera’s professional portrait as a representator of Saint Petersburg state university’s psychology for special needs research school.
