Additional comments: The paper is devoted to the exploration of supply chain (and logistics) development in era of additive manufacturing and 3D printing (3DP) in particular. 3DP is a very hot topic and new, rapidly developing technology that already passed the initial phase and is ready to create next logistics revolution or, at least, dramatic changes that might heavily change the whole supply chain and logistics landscape. For example, in certain scenario of development of 3DP such area as 3PL logistics might diminish and many companies will find themselves out of the market. 3DP will influence on other areas and industries as well. Some academics say that it is predecessor of next industrial revolution. Elizaveta makes an attempt to analyse what will happen with SCM, logistics companies and 3PL providers with the development of 3DP. It is not quite obvious. And outcomes might be different. That’s what many companies think about now. And Elizaveta’s work follows the trend here. She done good research and analysis. Interesting outcomes and conclusions, as well as cases. She conducted interviews with different experts which makes the paper valid. The only thing that is missing, from my point of view is deeper analysis of several industries and 3PL in particular and more precise forecast. Master thesis of Elizaveta Kuznetsova meets the requirements of the Master in Management program, and according to the reviewer’s opinion deserves a “good (С)” grade, thus the author can be given the desired degree. 07.06.16 Lodewijk De Meulemeester, Director IT and Innovation, Ahlers
