Clarity of statement of the purposes and objectives of the study. The aim of the work is clear, while the tasks are not spelled out in the introduction, as given already in custody, which is not quite logical. 2. The validity of the structure and logic of the study. The author adequately reasoned choice of structure and logic flow of the research material.  3. The presence of the contribution of the author in the research results.  A comparative analysis of the interpretations of the essence of regional policy in the former USSR and the new Russia; the author's approach is indicated in the definition of objectives of regional policy; the specifics of the regional policy of the Samara region at the present stage. 4. The novelty and practical significance of the research. Given the comprehensive characteristic of the regional policy of the Samara region, revealed an innovative scenario of regional development in Samara region. 5. The correct use of research methods and analysis of economic information.
