Kulikov Daniil "Dimension reduction of categorical data based on Fisher’s exact test" Structure: This work consists of 48 pages with an introduction and five chapters and conclusion and bibliography. Objective: "The implementation of the program calculating the Fisher exact test and the dimension reduction of the categorical data, comparing with the conventional counterpart, the implementation of a new algorithm for the enumeration of the Grassmannian point, which results in making the conclusion about the importance and interaction of factors on the example data on bowel diseases". When carrying out statistical research in the application area there is a certain contradiction between the significant amount received categorical data (due to inability to "measure" the phenomena) and a limited number of existing analytical solutions for this type of data. Therefore, a study aimed at improving the information content analysis of categorical data is important and relevant. In this work, the following theoretical results have been achieved: 1. Were investigated Gray codes and methods for their generation their strengths and weaknesses to build an algorithm of Grassmanian points enumeration. 2. The algorithm of Grassmanian points enumeration was proposed through the use of Young diagrams and was proved that the speed of the new algorithm is higher than the speed of existing analogs. 3. The possibility of parameterization via Grassmannian was discovered and designs integration had shown no possibility of parameterization, and therefore, this method had not been applied. All proposed algorithms were implemented in software, the verification of the program with the help of calculations in SPSS Statistics and R language was conducted. An important practical outcome of this work is the fact that the application of the proposed algorithm allows us to find the most informative syndromes (aggregate) of categorical attributes. The work confirms to the qualification requirements and was made out according to the Regulations of the Bachelor’s thesis. Research and development of the work revealed deep enough and complete, the theoretical and practical parts of the work were closely interlinked, the conclusions were justified. Among the disadvantages of the work some fuzziness in the formulations of the theoretical work should be attributed. However, this does not reduce the overall favorable impression of the work. This bachelor's thesis may be admitted to the protection and deserves the mark «good».
