The main advantage of graduating work is solving of non-trivial task in the absence of a generalized international experience of such tasks. Another advantage is complexity: author has independently produced a full research (the main idea for solving the problem, development of mathematical basis) and engineering work (software development, data collection). It is also important to note high quality development of software for different platforms and architectures: mathematical modules, mobile apps, web GIS.

Disadvantages:
Author does not provide a metric evaluation of the effectiveness of the proposed methods: about accuracy of positioning, time and other resources. It is recommended to give this aspect greater attention in future. It is also necessary to conduct a detailed analysis of the segment of potential consumers.

Conclusion:
Graduation work, presented by Semenov Alexander Evgenievich is dedicated to developing comprehensive solutions for positioning in the subway, or, more commonly, in linear networks of various types. Problem is obviously relevant, couse of for today the mass consumer and business do not have the available tools for continuous positioning: in the absence of GNSS signals during the ride in the subway it is impossible to track location without special equipment, which complicates the solution of logistics, research and other tasks.
After analyzing existing approaches to positioning, author has developed a method of family "localization pattern methods", using as a basis the data of the existing infrastructure of any modern Metropolitan cellular network, and as a positioning device – a smartphone, available most of the population of any major city. These circumstances will allow in the future to use the proposed approach in any subway in the world. Collecting the database (templates) for the subways of Moscow and St. Petersburg, the author suggested an approach to their continuous improvement and updating by crowdsourcing, developing appropriate software.
