Opinion to the graduation thesis of Brusinets Kirill The influence of different music rhythms on heart rhythm In the graduation thesis of Brusinets Kirill was discovered the influence of the musical works of various genres on the activity of the heart muscle. The work is done in close cooperation with teachers and students of the medical faculty of St. Petersburg State University. The source data for the analysis were collected by medical students through real experiments with 11 students. This paper describes the formulation of the problem, music that was listened by students, the source data themselves, and an overview of existing methods for similar tasks used in the algorithms to analyze of electrocardiograms. A feature of the work can be considered the fact that for electrocardiogram analysis the author used advanced algorithm and took into account not only the frequency of cardiac contractions (as is common in most existing algorithms), but all the other features of the PQRST-complexes were included in the result of researching of electrocardiograms. The implementation of the algorithm is a script for the package Matlab. In addition, the author attempted to analyze the results obtained with the various techniques of mathematical statistics. The author has demonstrated in his work that he can work with Russian and foreign sources of information, use methods of programming and familiar with mathematical methods of data processing and analysis. The disadvantage of working is the fact that the author has not demonstrated a deep knowledge of the foundations of mathematical statistics and was not creative in the analysis of the obtained results. Furthermore, it is unlikely that the program written by the author, will be useful to medics in the future, as they are unlikely to be able to use the scripts of Matlab in their work. Given the above, I suggest that graduation thesis of Brusinets Kirill can be assessed as “good”. Supervisor, ass. professor Grafeeva N
