The merits of the final qualification work of Dam Quynh Anh should include the relevance of the research associated with the need to optimize tourism activities in the regions of Vietnam and expanding the geography and themes of the proposed tours for both domestic and foreign tourists. The author's work is devoted to the study of the formation and the current state of the mechanisms of functioning of the tourism industry of Northern Vietnam and the possibilities of creating new relevant regional tourist offers.
The work is an independent research. While writing the work the author has shown efficiency in search and analysis of various sources of information and a good command of modern research methods. The content corresponds to the assigned task. A large amount of material was processed, which allowed a comprehensive study of the North of Vietnam as a tourist destination, to identify possible areas of its development, to identify promising tourist resources and types of tourism. 
The work proposed an actual tourist zoning of Northern Vietnam and successfully studied the specifics of the tourist and recreational potential of the subregions, with them considered the organization of the actual tourist offers. Relevant are proposals to improve the organization of the system of public and private management of tourism in North Vietnam.
During the work on the project the student showed diligence and analytical skills, competently conducted comprehension of data from various sources, successfully accomplished the set tasks.
