REVIEW Research supervisor on on the final qualification work of a bachelor's student of the Faculty of Sociology of St. Petersburg State University Danil Dmitrievich Koryakin "Peculiarities of digital socialization of students (on the example of St. Petersburg)" in the direction of preparation 39.03.01 "Sociology" Graduate work of D.D. Koryakin is devoted to a sociological study of an interesting and relevant topic about the features of digital socialization, the formation of a digital identity of students on the materials of St. Petersburg. The author sees the research problem in the poor sociological study of the practices of social and psychological consequences of digital technologies on the socialization of student youth. The object of the study is the student youth of St. Petersburg. The subject and purpose of the study is to identify the digital socialization of student youth in St. Petersburg. In the first chapter "Theoretical foundations for studying the digital socialization of student youth", student youth is considered as a representative of the digital generation, digital socialization, self-presentation and digital identity are revealed in the framework of the conceptualization of digital socialization of youth. In the second chapter "Digital identification of student youth: results of a qualitative study", based on the collected data of interviews with 37 informants, an analysis of the results of empirical research is given, the attitude to the Internet, to information, to participants on the Internet, as well as activities in the Internet environment is characterized. The third chapter "Features of the Digital Socialization of Students: Results of a Quantitative Study" presents the results of cluster and factor analysis of self-obtained questionnaire data. The characteristics of digital identity and features of digital socialization of students are given. Independently obtained significant and significant research materials allowed the author to test the stated hypothesis that the digital competence of students is the main indicator for determining the level of their digital socialization. Conceptually, the approach of the work is focused on the definition of digital socialization, the impact of digital technologies on the socialization of student youth. The proposed tools and research methods are quite original and heuristic. In particular, to study digital identity, we used the method of measuring social identity, the method of studying personal identity, the questionnaire "Internet Perception", the method of "unfinished sentences". The work used more than 60 Russian and foreign works and sources. It should be noted a set of data analysis methods and visualization of the results. The appendices contain an interview guide and a list of informants, a questionnaire, recommendations, and the scope of the research results. In general, the data, materials and analytics obtained by Koryakin testify to the high level of research qualifications, creativity, independence and competence. The author successfully coped with the tasks of conducting an interesting study and writing a final qualifying work. The presented graduate work of Koryakin meets the requirements for qualification papers in the field of study "Sociology" and deserves a high positive assessment.
