Content
The final qualifying work is to develop a UI / UX design for the 1698
application, a mobile platform that helps Chinese students adapt to a foreign culture.
The report consists of an Introduction, three chapters, a conclusion and six
appendices. The first chapter gives an interpretation of the idea of a guide on the basis
of M. Bennett's model of development of intercultural sensitivity and an overview of
the model itself. The second chapter is devoted to the development of the user flow of
the product and scenario-based fine-grained prototypes, as well as the preparation of
the design and all relevant visual solutions as part of the corporate identity creation.
The third chapter presents the development of the final version of the application
screen design.
Practical significance of final qualifying work results
The development of a multimedia guide based on Android, designed for
intercultural adaptation of students from China in St. Petersburg, was carried out by
two students of the Main Educational Program SV.5078 "Applied Informatics in the
Arts and Humanities": A.E. Sechenykh and E.A. Oboyshchikova.
A.E. Sechenykh developed the content and interface of the multimedia guide.
The high level of implementation of the resource and the text of the WRC testifies to
the sufficient development of the graduate's professional competencies and readiness
for teamwork.
Flaws
The flaws of the work include a formal attitude to the design of the Abstract, stylistic
flaws.
Characteristics of the student's work on the final qualifying work
Anastasia Evgenievna showed herself as an enterprising, independent student. The
graduate is distinguished by well-developed communication skills in an intercultural
environment, the ability to plan work quickly and clearly respond to comments, work
in a team.
