Advantages: For the study of anthophyllite-containing rocks and anthophyllite in the diploma, various methods were used that allowed not only to solve the tasks, but also gave A.M. Lezzhov the opportunity to know the subtleties of the use of petrological techniques in the study of rocks of complex genesis. Despite the presented collection of rocks, A.M. Lezzhov considered it necessary to get acquainted with the object of research, having left for short-term field work. Such a desire to obtain geological information about the object of study characterizes the dissertant from the best side. A.M. Lezzhov actively participates in the work of youth conferences and meetings, is involved in the implementation of research work in the IPGG RAS. All this gives the prerequisites for the formation of a good specialist who is ready to perform a wide range of work in the field of geology, including scientific research. Critical notes: Mineral formation analysis methods based on existing models of amphibole solid solutions could be applied to the diploma, and not only use the "minal" reaction of anthophyllite with Mg < 1. However, this disadvantage is caused by a lack of time, and not by the reluctancet. Conclusion^ I rate the work of A.M. Lezzhov as "excellent".
