Review of the Bachelor thesis of the fourth-year student of Mathematics and Mechanics Faculty Alexander Veselov <> The thesis is devoted to building scalable web applications. The text describes the cause of the need to build scalable web applications, as well as principles of their implementation. As an example of the main ideas of this thesis, a scalable web-application for organization of surveys in the network has been realized. It consists of two parts: the organizational part (to establish a survey) and the user interface (to poll users). The urgency of the theme as a whole as well as a specific application, is obvious --- now in the network a rich variety of different surveys is carried out, and many sites offer their surveys to use information collected on them to improve their performance in accordance with wishes and needs of users. The application comes as an archive, among other things, contains two rather bulky programs, responsible for the organizational part and the user interface part of the application. There are available versions of the application for Windows and Linux operating systems, and in the latter case for 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems. The application was tested for 64-bit Linux, the distribution was Fedora 23 with Firefox 46.0.1 as a browser. Both programs start without any problems and work just out of the box. No problems with their work arose. The interface was minimalist, but logical and understandable --- no special instructions were required. All necessary instructions about the input of parameters were given directly in the web-pages, no extra questions arose. In view of the urgency of the theme and the perfect functioning of the application, I think that the work deserves the mark <>.
