Simonovich Ivanka's work is devoted to the topical topic of Montenegro's competitiveness as an international tourist destination. The performed research is based on a detailed analysis and the use of scientific and methodological foundations of medical and wellness business. the review of factors and conditions of accommodation of resort establishments is made, including the resource basis of development and requirements for land plots for the development of sanatorium-resort business. The assessment of the importance of the tourist complex of the country in its socio-economic development is given. The author proposes and evaluates the prospect of joint, integrated development of rural tourism and health and wellness. The undoubted advantages of the work are the comparison of the regulatory framework of the Russian Federation and Montenegro in the field of health and wellness, the analysis of the possibilities of realizing the potential of the region in the development of the resort business, the independence and validity of the conclusions and recommendations obtained.
The research tasks have been completed, the goal has been achieved.
