REVIEW in the graduate qualification work of the bachelor Maslova Tatiana Andreevna "Calculation of diode system with ellipsoidal field emitter” The graduate qualification work describes the electron-optical system with a field cathode. Maslova T.A. solved the problem of the electrostatic potential distribution calculation for two emission systems, which are the diode system with the field cathode in the form of semi-ellipsoid of revolution. The analytical expressions of the electrostatic potential distribution in the form of a series in Legendre functions were obtained for the systems including the inner region of the diode system layers with different dielectric constants effects. The numerical calculations on C Sharp language in Microsoft Visual Studio programming environment are based on the analytical expressions for the potential distribution. The calculation results are presented in the form of three-dimensional graphs. In this work there are a few misprints and the infelicities of style. Sometimes the line of solutions requires explanation that is more detailed. However, these drawbacks do not reduce the level of work.
