Review of the supervisor for the final qualifying work of Sofia Alekseevna Pushenkova "Avant-garde heritage of Russian regions in the museum context" The graduation thesis of Sofia Alekseevna Pushenkova is devoted to the generally little-studied topic of the regional development of the Russian avant-garde art of the 1920s, as well as the problems of preserving and popularizing avant-garde monuments in regional museums in Russia. The graduate independently chose the topic, determined the object of research, as well as the purpose and objectives of her work. The work of Sofia Alekseevna is an original, scientifically substantiated study, which has reason to provide a solution to important theoretical and applied problems in the field of research into the history of the artistic avant-garde and its existence in museums in the Russian regions: the Smolensk State Museum-Reserve, the Tver Regional Art Gallery, the State Art Museum named after A. N. Radishchev city of Saratov, as well as the Bryansk Regional Art Museum. The paper considers and analyzes major exhibition projects of these museum institutions dedicated to the Russian avant-garde. Graduation work of S.A. Pushenkova significantly complements the current body of literature on this topic, has a detailed, logical structure and reflects a comprehensive and integrated author's approach to the topic. The author carefully analyzes the literature involved, as well as documentary, material and pictorial sources. The conclusions of the final qualifying work seem to be very convincing, logical, and its structure is carefully thought out. This study will be useful not only for specialists in museum business, but also for culturologists, art critics and collectors.
