The topic of the final qualifying work:
Creating an animated clip using vector graphics

The work is devoted to the creation of a short animated clip designed to create a "cartoon" image of St. Petersburg. The visual concept of the clip assumes flat, as if "cardboard" images unfolding in the main plane of the scene.
In the process, Maria analyzed a number of approaches to creating clips of similar subjects, thought of a stylistic concept, created a script and carried out a storyboard. The possibilities of a number of software applications are considered, the choice of a platform is justified and practical work is carried out – as technical as it is creative.
The animation of the project is based on a collection of stylized images created by Maria of a number of significant architectural objects of St. Petersburg, implemented in vector format.
It should be noted that the "vector" approach turned out to be very effective, since it fundamentally allows for the implementation of transformations without compromising quality and ensures efficient data exchange. The possibilities of export/import in a wide range of applications are considered. The possibility of exporting to SVG format, which can be considered universal, is also of interest.
The style of the clip assumes pseudo-three-dimensional effects, on which considerable work has been carried out. In accordance with the scenario, objects were animated, transitions between individual scenes were created. The final visualization of the scenes was carried out with preservation in a number of relevant formats. The result looks with interest.
Maria is responsible, purposeful, works clearly and stably, is creatively wealthy and demonstrates good qualifications. The results of the graduation project demonstrate her high creative level and knowledge of technology. The final work was completed in accordance with the approved task and in full.
I believe that the work of Maria Aleksandrovna Kozyreva meets all the requirements for final qualifying works and deserves high praise.
