Response on the thesis of the student Mitrofanova Elena Viktorovna on a subject: "Features of work of the "DEFAULT-SYSTEM" of the brain at patients with neurotic disorders"
Elena Viktorovna wrote the work on the actual topic  related with the problems psychophysiological mechanisms of consciousness of people, depending on the predisposition to neurotic disorders. The author showed  the independence in his research . She started work on the complex and urgent theme: psychophysiology of consciousness. She investigated one of the modern approach to the explanation of the phenomenon of "default system" of the brain, which are exist being on the interconnected neural networks in which information circulates in the process of self-reflection. From the point of view of contemporary authors, this mechanism at the level of electrophysiology is reflected in the power of alpha rhythm of EEG. The author conducted fairly complex experiment, which includes measurement of EEG in the generation of free association, of the charge under the influence of auditory tales text. The study also used expert judgment and the results of psycho-diagnostic methods. We can consider this work as a good initial foundation for future research and publications.
Despite the small experience in psychophysiological research she in detail and thoroughly analyzed the experimental results, using appropriate mathematical methods. In the process of the work, she showed the persistence in the development of new material, the thoroughness in testing hypotheses and interpretation of experimental data. In my opinion, she got very interesting results, which contribute to the understanding of the physiological mechanisms of manifestations of neurotic disorders.
The final qualifying work of  Mitrofanova E. V. meets all requirements for this kind of works and deserves an excellent rating.
