Nowadays the problem of social and psychological adaptation of people, suffering schizotypal disorder (SD) is newly opened because of modern understanding of schizophrenia spectrum diseases, the development of the stress- diathesis conception, and drawing attention to the conception of child-parent attachment. N.V.Juritsina has focused on studying the effect of early dysfunctional states (mental diathesis) on the socio - psychological adaptation of patients with schizotypal disorder. N.V.Juritsina has made an original study of the relationships such as early child-parent attachment and different variants of mental diathesis with SD patients. She prepared comprehensive review of the literature on clinical and systematics, the psychological characteristics of patients with schizotypal disorder. While working on her diploma, N.V. Juritsina was visiting patients regularly, several times a week, during one year. She has easily come into contact with doctors and also built the trusting relationships with patients of the branch of biopsychosocial rehabilitation of mentally ill NIPNI them. V.M. Bechterev, so that helped the rapid collection of material. The student carefully processed and analyzed in terms of adequate empirical data, showing great interest in this work, commitment and responsibility. N.V. Juritsina proved to be a capable and very organized student. She easily coped with all tasks of her supervisor, displaying accuracy and composure. She equally well manifested herself as a future psychologist and practitioner, and as a serious, prone to analytics young researcher. High intellectual potential has allowed the student to easily cope with the mathematical and statistical processing of data, analyze them well and place. As a result of the resurch obtained new scientific evidence on the relationship of early forms of mental diathesis and unreliable parent-child attachment, about the importance of various forms of mental diathesis for social and psychological adaptation in patients with schizotypal disorder.
