Theme of qualifying work Spiridonov Alexander Vladimirovich "Restoration plaster sculpture." This theme was chosen not by chance that a student, but as a continuation of his final qualifying work during their studies in the Bachelor "Restoration of the plaster model of the sculptural group" Blockade "from the collection SPbGBUK" State Museum of City Sculpture, "a branch of the museum - workshop M.K.Anikushina". Then the work was devoted to the practical restoration of the sculptural group and its individual fragments (sculptural group consists of three semantic sculptural groups, the total number of individual parts - 27 fragments). theme choice was driven by the need to systematize the existing experience of restoration of decorative plaster sculptures, located in the collections of museums of St. Petersburg. This work is applied methodological in nature and contains practical recommendations on the restoration of the plaster sculpture of any degree of safety for the keepers 'Sculpture' funds, critics, researchers, the main keepers and restorers. Complete final qualifying thesis contains an introduction, four main chapters, conclusion, bibliography and two annexes (Annex 1 and 2 - passport restoration plaster model of the monument AP Chekhov in Melikhovo and the plaster model of the monument "Golden Boy" for Memorial heroic defenders of Leningrad Mikhail Konstantinovich Anikushina). The main objectives set in the work: • review and analysis of the structure of gypsum (α-gypsum, .beta.-gypsum), methods of designing and producing for geological-mineralogical, materials science literature; • review of existing methods of restoration works and the materials used for the restoration and preservation, modification and hydrophobic plaster mixes in materials science, literature and methodical restoration of collections for the restoration of the sculpture; • selection of modern analogues to the old materials; • an analysis of the profile of literature - to determine the degree of disclosure issues; • Development of technological maps restoration plaster sculptures (from the beginning of the research process of the object before being sent to storage department). As part of the task developed 19 individual routings, 4 of them are devoted to the preliminary (preparatory) work, and 15 - a practical restoration and conservation works. As part of the practical part of the master's work, Alexander Spiridonov made comprehensive restoration of growth of two separate pieces: the author's plaster model of the monument AP Chekhov in Melikhovo, M.K.Anikushin 1987 and the plaster model of the monument "Golden" boy, M.K.Anikushin 1975, both items are in the branch SPbGBUK "State Museum of City Sculpture," "Museum Workshop MK Anikushina ". I would like to mention the student practical skills learned more in the learning process in the Restoration Lyceum and then at St. Petersburg State University, demonstrated in the course of restoration work - this understanding of the sculptural object sculpture, its space -space solutions. Thorough and scrupulous in performing all operations on preservation of the monument. Thesis is fully consistent with the methodological recommendations of St. Petersburg State University. Final qualifying work indicates a high level of training A.V.Spiridonova. At present Master is a full-time restorer SPbGBUK "State Museum of Urban Sculpture." From the viewpoint of further advice: you must pass the state certification in the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation for the relevant category for the restoration of the plaster sculpture established by law, to continue practical work on the restoration of the museum's collection M.K.Anikushina Workshop, as well as other Russian museums under control certified restorer of the first and highest category.
