Review  on master's thesis of Vagina Olga Stanislavovna on the topic: "Collaboration between Universities and employers in the process of training and employment of young specialists "  Master's thesis of Vagina OS is relevant. In modern conditions the universities are the kind of "factories" for the production of human capital, preparing professionals with competencies in different areas of vocational training. However, in practice these competencies do not always meet the requirements of employers. You can also state that in reality there is a real contradiction between the vocational training system, employers and the labor market. It is therefore necessary to develop a system in which all of the above parties will act in concert. In this context, the work of Vagina OS It is highly relevant and useful.  Among the advantages of this thesis research it should be noted that in some detail analyzed sociological theories of Max Weber, T. Parsons, P. Sorokin, Habermas, Luhmann, J. Homans, Berger and M.Kastels that make theoretical and methodological basis of final qualifying work. Analysis of these theories allowed the author to continue to use key concepts, principles, characteristics and types of social interaction in conducting empirical research and to include them in the development of methodological tools.  Noteworthy, conducted by the author analyzes the main strategies of cooperation between higher education institutions and employers in the preparation and employment of young specialists in foreign countries (for example, Germany, Norway, USA, Japan), as well as in Russia.  Work of Vagina OS is a theoretical and applied research. In this regard, it should be noted that the author had an independent empirical research on the subject of his work at the enterprises of IT sphere in St. Petersburg. The study was conducted in two stages: in-depth interviews with managers of companies and a survey of graduate students St. Petersburg State University. The author has independently developed a program of sociological research and methodological tools in the form of Hyde interview to interview experts and questionnaires for the survey of graduates. When analyzing the results of the research the author has provided data on the specificity of the interaction of the three main groups of actors: universities, employers and students. The study identified the main problems for which the author had developed practical recommendations for improving the process of interaction.  Noting the high level of the master's thesis can not be said that it is not without some drawbacks:  1. Copyright determining the interaction between universities and employers (P.18) is a rather normative, optimal model for future cooperation mentioned subjects, between the text of the dissertation, it is positioned as a descriptive model that describes the real interaction in the study area.  2. At the master's work focuses on the three main groups of interaction of subjects: employers, students and universities. In view of Russian specifics, the majority of higher education institutions of our country and the government under the Ministry of Education and Science, which defines the list of professions and areas of training, through in vocational education and training; developing federal state educational standards, etc., and therefore can not be ignored in a dedicated network of interactions influence the state policy in the field of education in the activities of universities, which was not done in this study.  3. In an empirical study conducted by the author, was attended by only St. Petersburg State University graduate students that can not provide sufficiently complete impression about the specifics and trends of interaction between universities and employers even at the level of St. Petersburg.  The above comments do not reduce the theoretical and practical significance of this work, which is performed in compliance with the established requirements and deserves a high positive assessment.
