REFERENCE of scientific adviser about the master's thesis V.A. Radyuk Thesis of VA. Radyuk is devoted to the reading psychology and the personality of the reader of fiction. We studied elderly readers who have a rich reader's and life experience. The work of VA. Radyuk continues the previously outlined at the Department of Developmental Psychology and Differential Psychology line of comparative-age study of reading and the value-semantic scope of the reader's personality. The research is based on a theoretical analysis of the problem under study, including its psychological, sociological and pedagogical aspects. The peculiarity of this study is the use of previous works performed under my leadership on younger samples; this allowed expanding the comparison of reading at different ages from early adulthood to the elderly. The author of the thesis examined 75 elderly people. She processed and comprehended the received data. In the process of working on the topic, Victoria Radyuk showed good performance and diligence. She got carried away with the chosen topic and took the initiative in collecting and processing data, while mastering the technology of empirical research. It was not easy for her to cope with the task, because this is her first serious empirical study. As a result, the thesis was completed on time, and Victoria Radyuk herself received a new professional experience, important for her future work in psychology.
