"Media technologies of the US to retain world leadership»   Master's degree student Yulia Ilyenko received her bachelor's degree at St. Petersburg state University on the educational program "Social work". She entered the faculty of journalism in the direction of "international journalism" in 2016.   All intermediate test in the subjects of study in two years delivered just fine. Time of study at the faculty it combines with professional and scientific activities. Julia works as a newspaper reporter, Herzen state pedagogical University. A. I. Herzen "Pedagogical news". He writes both news for the site and articles in the newspaper, including on the international cooperation of the University in the fields of education and culture. All this allowed Julia to make up the knowledge and skills gained by bachelors who study professionally on the profile.  Yulia Ilyenko participated in scientific seminars and conferences during her master's studies. One of the results of this work is the publication in the collection of materials of the 15th international conference of students, undergraduates and graduate students in 2017 “Media in the modern world. Young researcher.”  Julia timely and organized began work on the diploma. Influenced the organization of its work, apparently, the fact that the topic, which she proposed initiative, was adjusted at the meeting of the Department. This fact affected both the development of the plan and the work on the text, i.e. the initial "blanks" of the diploma had to make significant adjustments.  Together with the supervisor, a conceptual approach to the work was developed, and the method of writing was defined. A detailed work plan was prepared to facilitate the successful work on WRC.   Julia worked on a sufficient list of scientific literature, conducted a painstaking work on empirical material. She systematically kept in touch with the scientific supervisor, periodically asked for advice directly and via e-mail. In the process of work, regularly receiving comments and recommendations from the supervisor, she adequately responded to them, approached the proofreading of the written material creatively. I did not always accept all proposals unambiguously, I defended my position when I considered it necessary. All the above mentioned allows us to assert that Yulia Ilyenko demonstrated creative, initiative, active attitude to the preparation of the final qualifying work, proved her ability to set and solve research tasks.
