Presented by Polina Gorban thesis is a scientific study devoted to an important and important not only for journalism but also for modern society subject which has undoubted practical significance and theoretical importance. The relevance of the topic and the prospects for using drones in journalism are obvious. Today, drones are used in almost all areas of society, where it is needed and where it is not. The author rightly notes the weak scientific knowledge of this topic in the Russian community. Nevertheless, the phenomena analyzed by the author have found wide circulation in the literal sense in all areas of journalism. The presented arguments and analysis of the empirical basis allow to draw a conclusion about the undoubted scientific and practical relevance of the chosen research topic. For a thorough analysis of the problems, Polina Viktorovna studied a wide range of fundamental scientific works and articles. The author pays special attention to the analysis of television content, detailing and thoroughly laying out news items, documentary and play films into components precisely from the point of view of the validity of the use of drones. It is necessary to emphasize a clear structured approach to the problem of studying a vast array of works related to the topic of introducing digital technologies in journalism and everyday life. The research represents significance both from a scientific and practical point of view, allows to use the results obtained in daily activities and for improving work processes. The structure of the dissertation work is logical, subordinated to the achievement of the goals and objectives of the study. The structure is made in a such way that all positions taken for protection are consistently proved in the course of the thesis work and create a single coherent whole picture of the research. Separately, it is necessary to note the consistency and thoroughness of the provisions set forth in the work. All the provisions are supported by arguments and examples from the practice of journalism, the analysis of the theoretical basis of the problem smoothly and organically turns into an analysis of the empirical basis and practice of using digital technologies in modern journalism in Russia and the world. The content of the work is fully consistent with the title stated in the title, which is fully disclosed in the work and with all the issues that are necessary for understanding the parties. Despite the poor knowledge of the topic, Polina Viktorovna managed to find sources that analyze not only the use of drones in the production process, but also general trends and features of the penetration of new technologies into the life of the modern user. The author offers his own classification model created with the help of drones content. So, the dissertant distinguishes all the content created today into three groups: 1) drone for the sake of the drones; 2) drone as content; 3) when without a drone content is impossible. A detailed analysis of the empirical base allows us to make our own decision about the expediency of using UAVs in a particular situation and apply the findings in practice. All theses are backed up by factual basis, which does not leave the place of work in controversial positions. The work is written in a pure scientific language. In the study there are no gross errors, the text is logical and understandable. Additional visibility and validity of the data and conclusions obtained is given by the illustrative material used at the right time and at the right place of the table and comparative analysis. Having set a goal, the dissertator proceeds to it consistently, solving a number of research problems. In particular, it determines the causes and consequences of the introduction and use of digital technologies in professional journalistic practice, linking metamorphosis with distortions in the concept of the ethics of aerial photography, convergence and multimedia of the media. The author on the examples analyzes the accompanying changes, put forward to the created content and professional qualities of journalists. The author pays special attention to the legislative regulation of new digital technologies in journalism. I believe that the master's thesis meets all the requirements and the author of this research deserves the highest positive assessment. I also recommend continuing the development of the topic at a higher scientific level in connection with the particular urgency of the problem and the author's inclination to deep analysis and, at the same time, the high practical applicability of the results of scientific research.
