The national park "Smolenskoye Poozerie" was chosen as an object of research. In his study, the master student focused on the study of bottom sediments as a medium, the study of which can give an answer about the general level of anthropogenic impact on the territory. This work became a logical continuation of the studies conducted by Kononova LA. When preparing a bachelor qualification work. For two years of training in the magistracy, additional factual material was obtained, which allowed expanding the topic, conducting a comparative analysis, and carrying out more "subtle" measurements. In his work Kononova LA Detailed study of the patterns of heavy metals. An analysis was made of bottom sediments of several lakes in the central part of the national park with different anthropogenic loads. A detailed analysis of the gross content of heavy metals was carried out in the resource centers of SPbSU, and their migration forms were determined. In addition, thermodynamic modeling of the forms of finding heavy metals in bottom waters was carried out. Based on the results of the work, the geochemical features of bottom sediments of the studied lakes are estimated, and recommendations for improving the monitoring system are given.   Disadvantages of work: From the shortcomings of the work can be noted the inadequate application of GIS technologies for material processing.
