REVIEW of the graduate qualification work of the SPbSU student Efimov Maxim Ruslanovich “The field cathodes periodic system in the rectangular lattice modeling” The graduate qualification work is devoted the cathodes system modeling, each of these cathodes is located in the center of the cell of the periodic rectangular lattice. Field emitters do not require additional energy for cathode glow and allow achieving high current densities at low voltages on the electrodes. Due to this feature, field cathodes are used in the modern microelectronics devices. There are practically no papers on analytical methods of calculation of such systems in the literature. Each individual cathode of the periodic system under study is an emitter that is located on a flat substrate, the anode is defined as a plane parallel to the substrate. To model the effect of the field emitter, the influence of a system of point charges was considered in such a way that the shape of the tip coincided with the zero equipotential formed by the potential distribution. Efimov M.R. found an analytical solution of the initial boundary value problem for the distribution of the electrostatic potential in the Cartesian coordinate system. The program is written in C ++ using OpenMP and graphs of potential distribution and radius of the equipotentials curvature for the cathodes periodic system with various parameters are presented. The numerical calculations confirm the adequacy of the proposed mathematical model of the investigated field emission system. In this work there are misprints, but in general, the graduate qualification work is performed at a high mathematical level. I believe that this work corresponds to the title, fully discuss the subject stated in the title, meets all the requirements for the graduate qualification work of the bachelor and deserves an "excellent".
