REVIEW on the graduate qualification work of bachelor Chuprynina Tatiana Andreevna “Investigation of longitudinal dynamics of intense beam in linear accelerator with parametric specification of control” Qualification work of Chuprynina T.A. is devoted to modelling and optimization of quasiperiodic beam longitudinal dynamics in linear waveguide accelerator. Main directions of the research conducted by the student are as follows. Firstly, the formalization of space charge field numerical calculation method and introduction of integro-differential beam dynamics model. Secondly, software development for beam dynamics numerical simulation with particle interaction account. Thirdly, control functions parameterization and beam dynamics optimization with the use of random search in prescribed domain of control parameters space. Chuprynina T.A. perfectly fulfilled the task suggested. Mathematical model presented describes beam evolution as a complex of bunch center motion and particle motions. The software developed allows a detailed analysis of the processes of particle bunching and accelerating with interaction account; the numerical simulation results are presented. Control functions are approximated by trigonometric polynomials, and their coefficients are supposed to be optimization parameters. The optimization result is beam characteristics improvement. The work opens the perspective of further research, specifically, beam dynamics optimization with the use of directed methods. I believe that the work of Chuprynina T.A. meets all the requirements of the graduate qualification work of the bachelor, and deserves an "excellent". I recommend the bachelor Chuprynina T.A. to enter the magistracy. Supervisor, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department Contr. Syst. Th. Electrophys. App. Rubtsova I.D.
