Bachelor’s thesis of M. Elfimova is devoted to the topic of creating a prototype of three-dimensional geometric editor with support of various types of geometric relation between items.  This topic is both practically important and also is an interesting research task Practical importance is connected with the development of ELCUT program complex. The thesis was created as a part of development of a new geometric editor for ELCUT.  As a research task, description of geometric relations between model items is a well-known topic of CAD/CAE geometric modelling research, it is actively studied and developed now. Relations in geometric editor could be quite complex and the task to implement it in full scope is very hard. So it is an interesting research task to choose and implement a subset of simple and useful features. During her work on thesis, M. Elfimova demonstrated good investigation and programming skills. She studied functionality requirements, designed and implemented an editor prototype. She also did the prototype testing and evaluate its usability.  The work on bachelor’s thesis was done with good quality and responsibility. All tasks were finished in time according the preliminary schedule. Good skill of information search and retrieval was demonstrated. The editor prototype created as a result of bachelor’s project has a practical value and its results will be used for development of new ELCUT release.  In the thesis, the project goals, design and results are described in details. The thesis text is quite clear, detailed and written with good quality. The M.Elfimova bachelor’s project deserves the grade “Excelent”
